The McFadden Academy of Irish Dance was established in 2008 by Beth Anne McFadden T.C.R.G.
Beth Anne has been involved in Irish dancing since 1993. She competed with the Mulvihill-Lynch School in Long Island, New York for 11 years. During her dancing career she attended many regional, national and world competitions, sometimes ranking among the top dancers in the Mid-Atlantic Region. She graduated from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut with a Bachelor’s degree in English.
Beth Anne became certified through An Coimisiun in Dublin, Ireland in March 2007 and spent 2 years teaching with the Hagen School of Irish Dance in Long Beach, New York. She is very excited to bring her knowledge and love of Irish dance to the children of Vermont.
Within 5 months of the school's opening, Beth Anne brought teams and solo dancers to the New England Oireachtas (New England regional Irish dance championships) in Stamford, CT with great success!
