The McFadden Academy of Irish Dance was established in 2008 by Beth Anne McFadden T.C.R.G.  It is the only certified Irish dance school in Vermont. The dancers of the school currently range in age from 4- 22.  The McFadden Academy offers beginner through championship classes.  The school is geared to both those that would like to dance competitively and those who enjoy dancing just for fun.
 
In our first year, dancers competed in the New England Regional Championships held in Stamford, Connecticut and were very happy to come home with quite a few awards. One of our dancers also traveled to Nashville, Tennessee to compete in the North American National Championships. The dancers have also performed at numerous events around the region, including dancing with world-class musician Eileen Ivers at the Flynn Theatre.
 
During our second year as a school, The McFadden Academy opened its second location in Middlebury, Vermont.  Also during this year, eighteen of our students competed at the New England Regional Championships in Providence, Rhode Island wiith some fantastic results!  Two of those students will be representing us at the Nationals in Orlando, Florida this summer.    
 
The McFadden Academy is continuing to grow and share the love and culture of Irish dance with the people of Vermont.
